Evening Walking Tour: Letchworth's Historic Highlights

Join Letchworth Historian, Josh Tidy, on a pleasant evening stroll through some of the highlights of the first Garden City’s history. Our gentle walking route is punctuated with stops where we can dig deeper into the history of certain buildings.

Starting and finishing at The Museum at One Garden City on the corner of Broadway Gardens (next to Morrisons) (3 hours free parking in Morrisons car park) this tour takes in Parks and Gardens, Arts & Crafts, Cheap Cottages, and some hidden gems.

The walking tour should take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.

You can park for FREE for 3 hours at Morrisons, just next to The Museum at One Garden City.

There is a small amount of walking on grass/uneven ground – you should wear sensible footwear if possible.

The museum service receives core funding from Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation, but relies on grant funding for projects and generating income through events like this to make meaningful programming that reaches as wide an audience as possible – by purchasing a ticket you are directly supporting our small museum – thank you.
