March – June 2025
In Spring 2025, we worked with a group of local young people aged 16–25 to bring fresh perspectives to the Garden City Collection.
Our Young Curators represented a range of backgrounds and life experiences. Through the project, they developed skills in curation, research, and film production—creating a series of short films that explore their personal perspectives on Letchworth Garden City.
Working with collection materials, community contributions, and their own lived experiences, each participant co-produced a unique response to the town and its identity today.
The project culminated in a special film premiere, with the work later exhibited at Broadway Gallery in Summer 2025.
“I feel more connected to Letchworth. It’s more than just a hometown… I feel really proud to be from Letchworth.”
